Our Well-Wishers

Honoring Those Who Believed in Us

At Mahashakti Seva Kendra, our work is driven by the strength of women — but it has been sustained and uplifted by the support of visionary leaders, generous mentors, and compassionate allies. Their encouragement, guidance, and belief in our mission have helped us grow from a humble collective to a recognized movement for women's empowerment. We combine ancestral knowledge with modern training to create handmade products that carry stories of strength, survival, and cultural pride.

The People Who Stood Beside Us

Today, Mahashakti proudly supports over 500 women across three worksheds in Bhopal’s gas-affected areas. Our core trades — block printing and zardozi embroidery — have created not just livelihoods, but dignity and community for the women we serve.

This journey would not have been possible without the unshakable support of those who believed in us from the very beginning:

Mother Teresa

whose compassion and spiritual leadership inspired the very foundation of our mission.

Late Smt. Indira Gandhi

whose encouragement and presence gave us strength during our earliest days.

Mrs. Sonia Gandhi

whose continued concern for grassroots initiatives like ours remains deeply appreciated.

Corporate Support That Made a Difference

We extend heartfelt thanks to Shri Ramesh Agarwal, Chairman of Bhaskar Group of Publications, for his long-standing guidance and corporate support. His doors have always been open to us, and his generosity has left a lasting impact on our ability to scale and sustain.

A Special Tribute

Over the years, certain individuals have gone beyond goodwill — they’ve become guardians of our mission. Their belief in the potential of women and their dedication to grassroots empowerment have helped shape the very foundation of Mahashakti’s journey.
